Modern cybercrime increasingly targets passwords, authentication credentials and account recovery information.

Many security incidents begin with compromised credentials obtained through phishing, malware, cloud breaches, device theft or unauthorized access to connected systems.

PIN-Master® was designed around a simple principle:

Sensitive credentials cannot be remotely compromised if they are never remotely accessible.

The result is a credential security device designed around offline operation, hardware memory protection, encryption and controlled access.

FIVE LAYERS OF SECURITY


Layer 1: Offline Operation

  • PIN-Master® is 100% offline.
  • It does not connect to WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, mobile applications or cloud services.
  • Because no data is transmitted, stored credentials cannot be intercepted, synchronized or accessed remotely.
  • PIN-Master® eliminates remote access pathways by design.

Layer 2: Master PIN Protection

  • The first time PIN-Master® is activated, the user selects a personal Master PIN.
  • The Master PIN must contain between 4 and 8 digits and is required every time access is requested.
  • The Master PIN is hidden during entry and cannot be viewed on the display.
  • Only the correct Master PIN provides access to stored credentials.

Layer 3: Hardware Memory Protection 

  • All credentials are stored exclusively inside the microprocessor's protected internal flash memory.
  • No external memory cards.
  • No external storage devices.
  • No removable storage.
  • During production, the microprocessor's hardware protection functions (LOCK bits) are activated.
  • These protections restrict external reading, verification and extraction of stored information.
  • Because all credentials remain inside the protected internal memory, there is no external storage location or separate memory chip from which credentials can be retrieved.
  • This hardware-based protection layer forms a core part of PIN-Master®'s security architecture.

Layer 4: AES 128-Bit Encryption

  • All stored credentials are encrypted using AES 128-bit encryption.
  • Even in the highly unlikely event that hardware protection mechanisms were bypassed, stored information remains encrypted.
  • Encryption therefore provides an additional independent layer of protection beyond the device's hardware security controls.

Layer 5: Secure Erase Protection

  • Repeated incorrect Master PIN attempts activate a Security Mode.
  • After five incorrect attempts, stored credentials are permanently erased.
  • Before deletion occurs, stored data is overwritten to prevent recovery. 
  • Once erased, stored data cannot be recovered.

These five layers create a robust, multi-barrier defense that keeps all your credentials firmly secured.

SECURITY PHILOSOPHY 

Security is not created by a single feature.

It is created by the five multiple independent layers working together.

PIN-Master® combines offline architecture, access control, hardware protection, encryption and secure deletion in a compact credit card-sized device designed to keep critical credentials secure and available.

WHY SETUP TAKES TIME - 30 MINUTES 

The same design decisions that create PIN-Master®'s security also create its setup process.

Because PIN-Master® is fully offline, credentials cannot be imported from a computer, browser, smartphone or cloud service.

All credentials must be entered manually.

Most users spend approximately 30 minutes entering their information.

This one-time setup process is a direct consequence of eliminating connectivity and remote access pathways.

  • Instructional video tutorials

Once setup is complete, your credentials remain available wherever you carry your wallet.

FULLY OFFLINE OPERATION 

Most security products attempt to secure connectivity.

PIN-Master® removes connectivity.

PIN-Master® is 100% offline.

It does not connect to:

  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • USB
  • Apps
  • Cloud services

Because no data is transmitted, stored credentials cannot be intercepted, synchronized or accessed remotely.

MASTER PIN ACCESS CONTROL

The first time PIN-Master® is activated, the user selects a personal Master PIN.

The Master PIN:

  • Must contain 4–8 digits
  • Is required every time access is requested
  • Is hidden during entry
  • Cannot be viewed on the display

A Master PIN with 8 digits provides up to 100 million possible combinations.

SECURITY RESPONSE 

If repeated incorrect Master PIN attempts occur:

  • Device enters Security Mode
  • Access is temporarily disabled
  • After the fifth incorrect attempt, all stored data is erased

This mechanism helps protect credentials against unauthorized access.

HARDWARE MEMORY PROTECTION

All credentials are stored exclusively inside the microprocessor's internal flash memory.

PIN-Master® does not use:

  • External memory cards
  • EEPROM
  • External storage

During manufacturing, hardware protection functions are activated.

These protections prevent external reading or extraction of stored information.

The only method of removing this protection is complete erasure of the microprocessor.

AES 128-BIT ENCRYPTION 

All credentials are encrypted using AES 128-bit encryption.

Even in a highly unlikely hardware breach scenario, stored credentials remain encrypted.

SECURE DATA DELETION 

When a security reset occurs:

  • Stored credentials are deleted
  • Memory is overwritten before reset
  • No recovery mechanism exists

Once deleted, stored data cannot be recovered.

PHYSICAL CONSTRUCTION 

PIN-Master® is engineered for long-term daily use.

Construction includes:

  • Reinforced aluminum alloy frame
  • Insulated internal housing
  • Protected electronics
  • True credit card dimensions (86 x 54 mm / 3.37 x 2.13 in)
  • Compact ultra slim (4 mm / 0.16 in) profile
  • The durable front and rear graphic foils are manufactured using an advanced foil printing technology where the printed information is protected beneath the foil surface.
