The first time you switch on your PIN-Master® you must select your own Master Code (4-8 digits).
When selecting your own Master Code please consider the following:
1.1 Press "On" (display reads "SELECT OWN MASTER CODE")
1.2 Key in your own Master Code (4-8 digits, the display will however show "XXXX")
1.3 Press "Enter" (display reads "RECONFIRM MASTER CODE")
1.4 Reconfirm (retype) your own Master Code
1.5 Press "Enter" (display reads "YOU HAVE ACCESS" followed by "NO DATA STORED")
1.6 Press "Off" (your PIN-Master® switches off)
Data such as Passwords, PIN Codes and other private information can be stored in your PIN-Master®.
The data is protected by a Master Code selected by the user (selected under Function 1).
2.1 Press "On" (display reads "KEY IN OWN MASTER CODE")
2.2 Key in your selected Master Code (selected under Function 1)
2.3 Press "Enter" (displays reads "YOU HAVE ACCESS" followed by "NO DATA STORED")
2.4 Press "New" (display reads "KEY IN DATA THEN ENTER" )
2.5 Key in data (text descriptions and codes by pressing the buttons 0-9 for both letters, numbers and symbols)
2.6 Press "Enter" (display reads "DATA STORED" followed by the latest data entry stored)
2.7 Press "Off" (your PIN-Master® switches off)
Hint: If you need to store a code exceeding 30 characters, then you can use abbreviations
After keying in your own Master Code (selected under Function 1) you can access all the data that you have stored (stored under Function 2)
3.1 Press "On" (display reads "KEY IN OWN MASTER CODE")
3.2 Key in your selected Master Code (selected under Function 1)
3.3 Press "Enter" (displays reads "YOU HAVE ACCESS" followed by the data that already has been stored)
3.4 Press the "Arrows" or the "Letters" to access the code that you want to see
3.5 Press "Off" (your PIN-Master® switches off)
The data stored (stored under Function 2) can be edited, changed and re-stored.
4.1 Press "On" (display reads "KEY IN OWN MASTER CODE")
4.2 Key in your selected Master Code (selected under Function 1)
4.3 Press "Enter" (displays reads "YOU HAVE ACCESS" followed by the data that already has been stored)
4.4 Press the "Arrows" or the "Letters" to access the code that you want to edit
4.5 Press "Edit" (display reads "EDIT DATA THEN ENTER" followed by the code that you want to edit)
4.6 Update and change (edit) the data for the selected entry
4.7 Press "Enter" (display reads "DATA STORED")
4.8 Press "Off" (your PIN-Master® switches off)
The data stored (stored under Function 2) can be erased.
5.1 Press "On" (display reads "KEY IN OWN MASTER CODE")
5.2 Key in your selected Master Code (selected under Function 1)
5.3 Press "Enter" (displays reads "YOU HAVE ACCESS" followed by the data that already has been stored)
5.4 Press the "Arrows" or the "Letters" to access the code that you want to erase
5.5 Press "Erase" (display reads "RECONFIRM ERASE")
5.6 Presse "Erase" again (display reads "DATA ERASED" followed by the next data entry stored).
5.7 Press "Off" (your PIN-Master® switches off)
For security reasons it is not possible to change the Master Code without deleting all the stored data.
6.1 Press "On" (display reads "KEY IN OWN MASTER CODE")
6.2 Key in a wrong Master Code (display reads "INCORRECT MASTER CODE" followed by "KEY IN OWN MASTER CODE")
6.3 Continue keying in a wrong Master Code until the display reads "SELECT OWN MASTER CODE"
6.4 Select a new Master Code (Function 1)
Version 1: PIN-Master with Capacity 1.000 characters. Up to 30 codes can be stored, each with a maximum of 30 characters (letters, numbers or symbols).
Version 2: PIN-Master+ with Capacity 4.000 characters. Up to 125 codes can be stored, each with a maximum of 30 characters (letters, numbers or symbols).
If you have exceeded the capacity (1.000 or 4.000 characters) and you try and create a new entry (Function 2), then the display reads "MEMORY FULL ERASE DATA".
You will then need to erase data (Function 5) in order to create space for a new entry (Function 2).
The battery is located at the bottom of your PIN-Master® (1 standard CR2016 battery). After you have changed the battery your codes are still available, and you do not need to re-type them.

New button: Is used to create a new data entry, which afterwards is stored in the memory

Erase button: Is used for erasing (deleting) stored data entries
